The “Icons” collection is a selection of works that depict pop culture icons that have influenced my life and work over the last decade. Earlier pieces from this collection include work with Prisma colored pencils, with later pieces done mostly in acrylic. Subjects include historical figures such as Elizabeth I, mid century icons such as Marilyn Monroe and Janis Joplin, timeless iconic couples such as John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and 90’s counter culture characters like Tank Girl and Marla Singer. Selected works will also be available as prints.
